Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. in Holland, MI is seeking a Cell QA Inspector I for the 2nd shift. You will operate equipment and systems to disassemble and inspect lithium-ion battery cells, record results, and ensure quality standards across the line.

You will perform basic maintenance, support troubleshooting, and prepare reports while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following 5S3R principles. Prior manufacturing QA exposure is preferred; a HS diploma/GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow quality procedures and write clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment and computerized systems to process, evaluate, and disassemble suspect or defective lithium-ion batteries.
• Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot equipment during production.
• Fill out reports and escalate results to team members as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S3R standards on the work area.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment and create work orders or instructions as needed.
• Monitor data from measuring devices and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
