Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking a QA Technician (QA Inspector-Defect Analysis) in Lansing, MI to analyze lithium-ion batteries and BMS, supporting defect investigations.

Responsibilities include calibration verification, tear-down analysis, data reporting, training others, and maintaining a safe, compliant work area with 5S standards. This is an on-site, full-time position with strong growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Vocational certificate or associates degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.
• 1 to 3+ years of related experience.
• Preventative maintenance experience in a climate-controlled lab and/or quality setting.

Responsibilities

• Verify daily, weekly, and monthly calibrations for all equipment are complete and properly documented.
• Cell/Module/Pack tear-down analysis and reporting.
• Report investigation/test/containment results to the Supervisor.
• Training QA Inspectors on testing equipment and material.
• Analyse data from measuring devices.
• Complete daily documentation and audits as required.
