Allied Machine is seeking an entry-level Cell Optimizee - Prep operator in Dover, OH. The role involves laser marking information on drill inserts, packing blades for inventory, and cleaning the work area at shift end.

You will inspect parts for quality and use calipers to ensure tolerances while following blueprints and NCR procedures. The position requires lifting up to 32 lbs and pushing a 100 lb cart, with basic MS Windows skills and manual dexterity.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with blades tolerances, diameters, styles, item numbers and sizes.
• Experience with MS Windows and applications such as Word and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Laser mark various information on drill inserts.
• Package blades for inventory and packing.
• Glass blast blades to remove burrs and inspect for quality defects.
• Mark all product using laser marking systems; follow instructions.
• Load products on trays and operate/adjust the laser marker.
• Fill out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for defects.
• Maintain safe work area and report areas needing attention.
• Read and understand blueprint notes; use calipers for measurements.

Package all blades to be placed in inventory.**Responsibilities*** Prepare blades and paperwork for Coating Department* Pack blades for inventory* Glass blast blades to remove burrs* Inspect parts for quality defects both visually and using OD measuring instruments* Some packaging of blades for tool coating (externally)* Mark all product using both automatic and manual laser marking systems* Packing blades for hard lube – paperwork* Packing blades for diamond – paperwork* Put boxes, sleeves, and plastic carbide trays away at end of shift* Clean work area and fill work area at end of shift* Load product on appropriate trays and put in laser marker* Select appropriate program and begin marking operation* Must be able to access all on-line work instructions* Observe and report all areas that need addressed* Maintain a high-quality level as well as a high rate of efficiency* Work in a safe manner at all times* Correct reporting of job transactions* Fill out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for blades that do not meet quality standards* Follow Inspection Plans* Maintain a low absenteeism and tardiness as determined by management* Willingness to follow instructions and procedures in a cooperative manner* Proper use and care of calipers* Read and understand blueprint notes* Load/Unload AMEC wash system## Qualifications**Qualifications**Education* High School Graduate or GED equivalentExperience* Working knowledge of blades, such as tolerances, diameters, styles, item numbers, and sizes* Experience with MS Windows and associated programs such as Word and Excel.Skills* Some basic computer programming* Detail oriented, good planning and organizational skills* Manual dexterity**Minimum Requirements*** Able to lift 32 lbs* Able to push a 100 lb cart* Able to use and read calipers
