RTX is seeking a dynamic Cell Leader in North Berwick, ME to lead a team responsible for jet engine component manufacture and repair. You will apply CORE, LEAN, and continuous improvement techniques to raise quality, throughput and delivery integrity.

You will guide a multi-skilled group across shifts, ensure safety and training, and drive performance reviews, communications, and policy adherence in a fast-paced production environment. The role is onsite with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years in engineering, manufacturing operations, CI/PI or similar environment OR an Associate's degree with 4+ years in the same scope.
• In absence of a degree, High School diploma/GED or equivalent and 6+ years in engineering, manufacturing operations, CI/PI or similar environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

What You Will Do

The Cell Leader is responsible for providing leadership to one or more Business Unit Cells by applying CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence), LEAN and other continuous improvement techniques to develop and implement process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing quality, throughput and delivery integrity.

• Provide leadership and guidance to multi-skilled group of team members engaged in the manufacture and repair of jet engine components.


• Ensure employees are adequately trained and work in a safe and environmentally sound manner.


• Execute business decisions fairly, conduct annual performance reviews, hold regular toolbox meetings, provide two-way communications, consistent application of policy/work rules, clear, consistent communication of organizational goals and objectives.


• Able to bridge business objectives across (3) operating shifts.


• Support all legal obligations such as United States Government contracting and Administration of FAA policies and procedures.


• Sets day-to-day goals and objectives for team members.


• Responsible for making modifications in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the work area.


• Have flexibility for shift overlap and occasional off shift work as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelors degree and minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, continuous improvement/process improvement or similar environment OR an Associate's degree and 4 or more years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, continuous improvement/process improvement or similar environment

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
