Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is hiring in Atlanta, GA. As a Plastipak Associate, you will be responsible for reviewing production orders and coordinating scheduling to meet quality standards.

• Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products.


• Working with site schedulers, plans production schedules, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.


• Coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of productsmeets specifications.


• Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.


• Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance andoptimum utilization.


• Develops or revises work instructions, working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with ISO standards.


• Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data from PICS (SAP).


• Maintaining a high level of motivation in the Cell, Housekeeping and safety


• Ensures that the Site Quality Policy, Operational Procedures and High Standards of Workmanship are maintained at all times.


• Must be able to build a strong working relationship with customers.


• Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.


• Initiate action for food safety issues.
