Job summary

Ontic’s Chatsworth, CA site is seeking a Cell Manager to lead production staff, ensure daily targets are met, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting. You will coordinate resources, coach team members, and uphold quality and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, operational management, and data reporting skills with expertise in ERP systems like SAP and tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.

Our team is looking for a Cell Manager at our Chatsworth, CA office.

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for team Supervision and Providing direct support to front line team members in meeting their daily production targets to ensure customer expectations are met.

Essential Functions And Basic Duties For This Job

• Resource Management: Allocates and coordinates resources effectively to meet operational objectives.
• Performance Management: Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, manages member development, recognition and ensures accountability and policy adherence.
• Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational issues and coaching and mentoring team's problem-solving capabilities.
• Process Improvement: Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the production system and meet customer demand.

Adjusts resources and priorities based on capacity, material availability, and customer demand.
• Team Communication: Sets example and models excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders, support teams, and with own team
• Time Management: Ability to identify critical tasks and allocate time and resources accordingly. Balances urgent production needs with short-term improvement initiatives. Consistently meets production and delivery targets. Manages competing priorities without compromising quality or safety.
• Lean Mindset: Follows lean practices such as 5S and waste reduction. Participates and support continuous improvement activities.
• Ability to effectively leads the team through 5S, Visual Management, standardized work, and Daily Management System.
• Computer Skills: Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for operational reporting. Ability to analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP. Basic understanding of Material requirements Planning (MRP) for inventory and production scheduling

Compensation Pay Range

$85K-$110K
