Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support the Cell and Gene Therapy supply chain.

You will perform defined operational tasks, manage milestones, and support projects with limited supervision, coordinating with finance, regulatory, commercial, logistics, QA, MSAT, and manufacturing teams. You will develop dashboards, maintain project metrics, and ensure patient supplies progress through each stage.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional supply chain experience.
• Ability to analyze routine issues and elevate complex problems.
• Strong customer-service orientation and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with GMP, GCP, and 21 CFR Part 11 environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project activities and timelines under guidance.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, QA on milestones.
• Ensure accuracy and tracking of supply chain documentation.
• Manage inventory tracking, reporting, and analytics.
• Develop dashboards and track project status updates.
• Prioritize multiple projects and troubleshoot issues.
• Take meeting minutes and maintain documentation.
• Support external suppliers and follow through on deliverables.
• Monitor delivery to support patient treatment schedules.
