Qualifications

• Associate degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of directly related work experience in healthcare operations, insurance authorization, patient access, managed care, revenue cycle, financial counseling, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience as a prior lead, supervisory, or team coordination experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance, payer requirements, prior authorization, benefits verification, and reimbursement processes.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively supervise staff and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and resolve complex operational and financial issues.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance patient access, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities include authorizations processes for inpatient and outpatient cellular and gene therapy services; and pricing changes for cellular therapy products; overseeing purchase orders and financial reconciliation; providing guidance on wholesale acquisition cost (WAC) and 340B pricing strategies; evaluating reimbursement considerations for clinical trials and commercial therapies; and serving as the primary financial liaison with pharmaceutical manufacturers, payers, and institutional stakeholders.
