ATCC is hiring an Associate Biologist in Manassas, VA to support production and quality assurance of biological materials in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include manufacturing operations, aseptic handling of cell cultures, and meticulous documentation to ensure GLP compliance. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and continuous process improvement in a nonprofit bioscience setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with aseptic technique and cell culture.
• Strong records management and adherence to quality standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies, procedures and laboratory techniques.
• Preferred: familiarity with GLP and regulated documentation.

Aufgaben

• Manufacturing Operations: Execute production activities and quality control testing by following SOPs and controlled documents.
• Aseptic Technique & Cell Culture: Perform procedures using aseptic technique and work with cell lines.
• Documentation & Compliance: Record batch and laboratory data accurately and maintain GLP standards.
• Laboratory Support: Maintain readiness, support equipment use, and follow safety procedures.
• Problem Solving & Improvement: Assist with troubleshooting routine challenges and support process improvements.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and quality objectives.
