Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Research Engineering/Scientist Associate, I-III, to join the Savinov lab in Molecular Biosciences. You will perform human cell culture and molecular biology experiments, set up cultures, and help train new lab members.

You will also contribute to lab operations, ordering, inventory, SOP development, and documentation, maintaining strict aseptic techniques and accurate records in a collaborative, fast-paced research environment in Austin, Texas.

Qualifications

• Experience with routine mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique.
• Strong record-keeping and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform human cell culture and molecular biology experiments.
• Maintain cell lines and cryopreservation procedures.
• Train new lab members in routine laboratory procedures.
• Assist with development and documentation of SOPs.
• Support lab operations: ordering, inventory, and organization.
