Job summary

The Department of Cell Biology and Human Anatomy at the University of California, Davis invites applications for a full-time faculty position at Assistant or Associate rank. The candidate will develop a strong, extramurally funded research program in areas aligning with developmental biology, neurobiology, vision research, or gene editing.

Responsibilities include teaching medical and graduate students, contributing to departmental service, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment

Qualifications

• PhD/MD degree or equivalent and at least two years postdoctoral experience.
• Outstanding research creativity, independence and productivity.
• Capacity to foster collegiality and work collaboratively.
• Ability to communicate effectively as a teacher.
