Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an on-site assembler to ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and adherence to standard work procedures. The role involves assembling ball nuts, using hand tools for debur and engraving, and occasionally operating saws, buffers, or hoists.

Daily team communication and strict 5S/work safety compliance are required. The position emphasizes reading prints and MI/QP, using inspection equipment, and basic math to interpret data.

Qualifications

  • Reads and follows prints, MI’s and QP’s to complete tasks.
  • Follows work instructions written and verbal.
  • Ability to solve practical problems in various situations.
  • Uses micrometers, calipers, indicators and gauges to inspect work.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles ball nuts and performs required operations per Standard Work Documentation and Manufacturing Instructions.
  • Operates hand tools for deburr, engraving and related tasks as needed.
  • Communicates daily with team and other facilities; adheres to 5S and safety regulations.
  • Complies with environmental, health, safety policies and quality plans.

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with on-time delivery requirements by providing assembly operations per standard work procedures and within the required tact time. Responsible for performing assembly or non-CNC operations according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions and Quality Plans in the cell. Assembles ball nuts, operates small hand tools for debur operation, engraver, as needed to complete operations. May use saws, straightener, buffer, and overhead hoist. Daily communication with the team and other facilities is required. Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations. The work area must comply with 5S requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Ability to read, follow and understand prints, MI’s and QP’s to accomplish the assigned task.
  • Required to exhibit the ability to read and follow work instructions both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
  • Use of inspection equipment to include, but not limited to: Micrometers, pitch micrometers, indicator micrometers, calipers, indicators, thread gauges, length gages, and tape measures
  • The ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Must be able to compute rate, ratio and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Good reading and comprehension.
  • The ability to work long periods standing up; lift and manipulate heavy loads (up to 60 lbs); Twist, turn, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach and walk repetitively, and work with oils, coolants and lubricants.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, which may include occasional weekends.

Expected Hourly Rate: $18.00
