Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an onsite assembler focused on on-time delivery and quality. You will perform assembly and non-CNC operations per standard work documentation and quality plans, using tools to ensure accuracy in a fast-paced cell.

The role requires reading prints and MI/QP documents, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Daily teamwork and adherence to 5S and safety regulations are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Able to read prints, MI’s and QP’s to complete tasks.
• Must follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Able to solve practical problems in varied situations.
• Uses micrometers, calipers, gauges and other inspection tools.
• Performs basic math including fractions and percentages.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assembles ball nuts and performs non-CNC operations per standard work.
• Operates small hand tools, engraver, and light equipment as needed.
• Communicates daily with team and other facilities.
• Adheres to 5S, EH&S regulations and quality plans.

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with on-time delivery requirements by providing assembly operations per standard work procedures and within the required tact time. Responsible for performing assembly or non-CNC operations according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions and Quality Plans in the cell.

Assembles ball nuts, operates small hand tools for debur operation, engraver, as needed to complete operations. May use saws, straightener, buffer, and overhead hoist. Daily communication with the team and other facilities is required. Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations. The work area must comply with 5S requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability to read, follow and understand prints, MI’s and QP’s to accomplish the assigned task.
• Required to exhibit the ability to read and follow work instructions both written and verbal.
• Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
• Use of inspection equipment to include, but not limited to: Micrometers, pitch micrometers, indicator micrometers, calipers, indicators, thread gauges, length gages, and tape measures
• The ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must be able to compute rate, ratio and percent to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Expected Hourly Rate: $18.00
