Position Location: Culver City, CA office.

We follow an office policy with an expectation of five days per week working onsite. Being together in person helps us collaborate, stay connected, and build a strong team culture. At POP MART, we foster a high-trust environment and trust our employees to make decisions that support both the team and the business.

What You Will Achieve:

Celebrity Strategy & Relationship Development

  • Utilize existing connections with top celebrity agencies (e.g., CAA, UTA, WME), publicists, and personal stylists to position POP MART as the “first‑to‑market” brand in the American entertainment industry.
  • Maintain close personal relationships with 10-20 core “celebrity collectors” – including singers, Hollywood actors, sports icons, and mega KOLs – and explore opportunities to turn them into deep, loyal fans of our IPs.

Cross‑over Campaigns & Content Integration

  • Draw on your fashion/beauty background to orchestrate organic celebrity unboxings, vlog integrations, and daily lifestyle posts that drive new product launches.
  • Partner with awards season moments (Grammys, Oscars, Met Gala), fashion weeks, and major premiere red carpets to secure gift bags and VIP lounge placements, generating natural, love‑driven exposure for POP MART IPs.

Event Marketing & PR Activations

  • Work closely with PR and Marketing teams to support on‑ground PR events such as IP exhibition VIP openings, flagship store launches, Labubu Tours, etc., ensuring top celebrities attend as genuine IP fans.
  • Monitor celebrity social media mentions of POP MART and quickly turn them into press releases or secondary creative content in collaboration with the internal PR team.

Cross‑functional Collaboration

  • Partner with e-commerce and retail teams to ensure a seamless “search‑to‑conversion” funnel for celebrity‑endorsed products.

What You Will Need:

  • Experience: 8-10+ years in artist relations, celebrity PR, or entertainment marketing, with at least 5 years in fashion or beauty brands (e.g., LVMH, Victoria’s Secret, Estée Lauder, Sephora, Alo Yoga) or at a top agency serving such clients.
  • Network: Verifiable track record of direct, strong relationships with top celebrity agents, publicists, stylists, or core team members. Please provide examples of celebrity caliber (e.g., Oscar nominee, platinum‑certified recording artist, top‑tier athlete, etc.).
  • Local Insight: Deep understanding of the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills entertainment ecosystem – including street style moments, red‑carpet seeding, and celebrity gifting PR.
  • Communication: Exceptional business acumen and emotional intelligence; ability to balance brand needs with celebrity comfort zones.

Preferred

  • A collector of blind boxes, designer toys, anime figures, or deep understanding of Gen Z subcultures.
  • Experience running private fan communities or fan‑based social accounts for celebrities.

Soft Skills

  • Passionate, detail‑oriented, and fiercely results‑driven – a “doer” who loves making things happen rather than just going through motions.
  • Highly sensitive to social media trends – able to anticipate the next viral moment on TikTok or Instagram.
