Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking an Activities Coordinator/Driver to join our team in Dallas. This hands-on, resident-facing role blends programming and transportation to engage seniors in daily activities and events across the community.

You'll plan and lead diverse programs, coordinate transportation, assist residents with mobility, and support a hopeful, caring atmosphere that emphasizes safety, communication, and excellent service. CDL may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in activities, hospitality, or senior living preferred.
  • Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • CDL may be required based on community needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and conducting programs for residents’ well-being.
  • Encourage participation and engagement in activities.
  • Plan and facilitate daily programs, events, and celebrations.
  • Coordinate events from setup to breakdown and maintain an activities calendar.
  • Provide safe, timely transportation for residents to activities and appointments.
  • Assist residents in and out of vehicles and with mobility support.

Our community is looking for an Activities Coordinator / Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities
Activities & Programming
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and conducting programs that support residents' physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well-being
  • Encourage and engage residents to participate in activities
  • Plan and facilitate daily programs, special events, and holiday celebrations
  • Coordinate events from start to finish (set-up, execution, breakdown)
  • Organize and maintain an activities calendar and community newsletterMaintain activity spaces and supplies; manage inventory
  • Coordinate with other departments to support programming needs
  • Support memory care and mixed-group programming as applicable
  • Meet with new residents to introduce programs and build engagement
  • Organize and support volunteer involvement
  • Other duties as assigned
Transportation & Driver
  • Provide safe, timely transportation for residents to activities and appointments
  • Assist residents in and out of vehicles, including mobility support
  • Secure wheelchairs and ensure passenger safety
  • Maintain vehicles (cleaning, fueling, basic inspections)
  • Document vehicle condition and support compliance (registration, licensing)
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in activities, hospitality, or senior living preferred
  • Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • CDL may be required based on community needs
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences
About the Role
