Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Senior Roadway and Bridge Transportation Engineer to lead construction inspection activities at various transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, bridges, drainage, and traffic management. The role involves client and contractor relationship management, supervising field staff, project planning, and contributing to business development.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and supervise construction inspection activities at transportation projects.
  2. Maintain relationships with clients and contractors to ensure project adherence to schedules and requirements.
  3. Estimate manpower needs, schedule, and assign work to meet deadlines.
  4. Supervise field inspection staff.
  5. Plan, develop, and coordinate large or complex construction projects.
  6. Participate in business development and maintain client relationships.
  7. Mentor junior employees and develop strategies to enhance CEI capabilities.
  8. Stay updated on new methods and recommend improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • 12 years of related experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%).
Skills and Abilities
  • Expertise in CADD 3D/4D software and engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
