Job description

CDR Maguire (CDR|M) is a full-service transportation, planning, design, construction management/construction inspection, and project & program management engineering firm. CDR Maguire is seeking a CEI Senior Project Engineer to provide supervision and engineering/construction management support for projects in District 1 & 7 (Tampa area).

Essential Functions:

1. Direct highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program
2. Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members
3. Develop and review policies, methods, practices, and procedures
4. Review programs for conformance with Department standards

Requirements

• Civil Engineering degree
• P.E. license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain registration within six months of employment if registered in another state)
• Prior relevant work experience in the Tampa or Orlando area
• Five (5) years of Senior Project Engineer experience (required) with a total of ten (10) years of related engineering experience (preferred)
• At least two (2) years of experience in major road or bridge construction and five (5) years in major bridge construction
• For non-degreed personnel: registration and ten (10) years of engineering experience, including two (2) years in major road or bridge construction
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Qualifications: Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the exam
• Certifications: FDOT Advanced MOT
