GFT is seeking a CEI Sr. Inspector to join our Construction Services Team in Fort Pierce, FL.

This role requires regular attendance at our Fort Pierce office and acts as a daily point of contact with clients and contractors to manage all aspects of a project. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years' professional experience in construction of manufacturing plants, water/wastewater facilities, transportation facilities, and/or infrastructure, with a safety-first mindset and strong

Responsibilities

• Verify levels, alignment, and elevation of installations.

• Interpret plans and specifications for Contractor and discuss deviations to ensure compliance.
• Record quantities of materials received or used, develop pay estimates and change orders.
• Maintain daily log of construction and inspection activities and compare progress reports.
• Monitor several types of work activity.
• Maintain construction safety practices and work methods for compliance.
• Manage documents using electronic platforms such as e-Builder or Procore.

What you’ll be challenged to do:

This role inspects and oversees construction work to ensure that results, procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications. This role will serve as a daily point of contact with clients and contractors, and manage all aspects of a project including construction observations, material testing and maintaining documentation.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Verify levels, alignment, and elevation of installations.

• Examine workmanship of finished installations for conformity to standard and approves installation.
• Interpret plans and specifications for Contractor and discuss deviations from specified construction procedures to ensure compliance with regulations governing construction.

• Manage documents using electronic platforms such as e-Builder, or Procore

What you will bring to our firm:

• High school diploma.
