Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. in South Florida (Fort Lauderdale/Miami) seeks a Project Administrator to support our construction engineering inspection team across Florida.

The role focuses on coordinating field activities, documentation, and communication with inspectors and project stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with two years of construction experience, or eight years of related work if no degree, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with two years of engineering experience in construction of major road or bridge structures OR eight years of relatable experience without a degree.
• CTQP final estimate Level 2 qualification required OR ability to obtain.
• FDOT Advanced MOT certification required OR ability to obtain.
• Experience with FDOT Sitemanager, Engineering Menu and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Directs and assigns specific tasks to inspectors and assists in all phases of the construction project.
• Responsible for the progress and final estimates throughout the construction project duration.
• Preparing, reviewing, and distributing weekly and monthly project reports and meeting minutes.
• Reviewing and responding to field issues/conflicts.
• Travel to construction sites throughout the state as required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

CTQP final estimate Level 2

FDOT Advanced MOT certification

8 years of relatable construction experience (without degree)
