Our Construction Management Team seeks a Project Administrator in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The successful candidate will oversee financial and contract administration of assigned projects. This position is not eligible for employer sponsorship, except for TN visa classification.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Support Senior Project Engineers in monitoring project financial performance.
  • Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance with plans, contract documents, specifications, and standards.
  • Engage with the public, government agencies, contractors, subcontractors, and internal/external parties to address inquiries and resolve field issues.
  • Assign tasks to inspectors and oversee their activities.
  • Notify contractors of non-compliance issues and necessary corrective actions.
  • Track project progress, identify potential overruns, and communicate critical issues.
  • Analyze project-related issues and propose solutions.
  • Manage administrative aspects such as contract reviews, scheduling, project accounting, reporting, and cash management.
  • Assist in developing marketing and communication materials.
  • Review plans for constructability and biddability.
  • Represent the company at community and business meetings.
Non-essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Contribute to new project proposals and RFP development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain positive relations with contractors, vendors, and consultants.
Required Experience

For candidates with Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management degrees: two (2) years of relevant transportation project experience.

For candidates without these degrees: a high school diploma or equivalent plus eight (8) years of CEI, roadway, or bridge construction experience.

Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Florida PE license.
Working Conditions

Work is conducted in an office environment, primarily sedentary, with occasional standing and walking. Conditions are safe and comfortable, with adequate lighting and temperature.
