Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC seeks a CEI Inspector for Sutton, WV to monitor contractor activities on transportation projects and ensure adherence to plans and specifications. The role includes daily field observations, documentation, and reporting for AASTHO projects.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma, roadway/bridge inspection experience, and required certifications such as Asphalt Roadway Technician, Earthwork & Base Technician, and Concrete Level 1/2.

Qualifications

• Roadway and bridge inspection experience is required.
• Certifications listed below are required or preferred depending on level.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic field software.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily observation of construction activities and document on reports.
• Review materials for contract and specification compliance.
• Inspect roadways and structures for conformance to plans.
• Monitor placement of pilings, reinforcing and structural steel.
• Perform calculations and sample/test construction materials.
• Report non-compliance and safety violations to supervisor.
• Record Daily Work Reports for AASTHO projects.
