HNTB Corporation in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a training Inspector to learn on-the-job quality control on roadway, structure, and bridge projects under a Construction Manager. This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on learning and observation of contractor activities to ensure quality and contract compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma and basic math skills, plus basic computer proficiency.

• Receives on-the-job and required agency classroom training to obtain designated certifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The opportunity entails being responsible for learning and observing inspections. Receives on-the-job training, observes the work of contractors to ensure quality control and contract compliance for roadway, structure, and bridge construction projects, under the direction of a Construction Manager or their designee.

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

What You’ll Bring:

• Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, with work reviewed by supervisor before submission.
• Knows basic math skills.
• Understands Microsoft Office Suite and other computer skills at a basic level.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.
• Experience in construction, labor, surveying, transportation, public works, or other related fields is a plus but not required.
• Ability to obtain required FDOT and CTQP certifications.
