Job summary

Metric Engineering, Inc. is seeking a CEI Inspector to support central Florida civil projects. The Inspector will report on construction progress and provide documentation to the CEI Senior Inspector, ensuring compliance with plans and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of site inspection experience or 1 year on bridge/roadway work, and hold CTQP certifications. This on-site position offers growth in a leading civil/transportation firm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction inspection experience or 1 year in bridge/roadway construction.
• Must hold CTQP Final Estimates Level 1 and CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level 1.
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level 1, Earthwork Construction Inspection Level 1, Pile Driving Inspection.
• IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level 1, FDOT Intermediate MOT, Nuclear Radiation Safety, Florida Stormwater, Erosion and Sedimentation.

Responsibilities

• Report and document construction progress and pertinent information to the CEI Senior Inspector.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specs and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and project team to track milestones and quality.

Metric Engineering is looking to hire a CEI Inspector to work in Central Florida! The Inspector will be responsible for reporting and documentation of construction progress and reporting pertinent information to the CEI Senior Inspector.

Experience:

• 2+ years of construction Inspection or 1 year experience with bridge and/or roadway construction.

Must have the Following Required Certifications:

• CTQP Final Estimates Level 1
• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level 1
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level 1
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level 1
• CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
• IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level 1
