Job summary

STV is seeking an experienced CEI Inspector to join our CEI Team in Central Florida (Lake Mary, FL area) and be part of a growing organization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on responsibility for all inspection requirements related to assigned construction operations.

Responsibilities include field surveying, construction layout, engineering computations, inspection of work, and field testing. CEI experience and CTQP certifications are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CTQP certifications listed above are required or strongly preferred.
• Experience in CEI/Construction Inspection is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Perform field surveying and construction layout tasks.
• Make and check engineering computations.
• Inspect construction work to ensure compliance.
• Conduct field tests as part of quality control.
• Assist Senior Inspector and report to the Project Administrator.

Job description

STV is seeking an experienced CEI Inspector to join our CEI Team in Central Florida (Lake Mary, FL area) and be part of a growing organization! Our ideal candidate should have been directly responsible for all inspection requirements related to the construction operations assigned.

Responsibilities, Including But Not Limited To

• Ability to: communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
• Performing technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout
• Making and checking engineering computations
• Inspecting construction work
• Conducting field tests
• Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator and will consist of assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma

Qualifications / Certifications

• CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
• CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
• CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
• IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
• CTQP Final Estimates Level I
• FDOT Intermediate MOT
• Nuclear Radiation Safety
• Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors

Compensation Range

$58,804.00 - $66,822.00
