Essex County Family seeking an experienced Nanny for G2 and G5m. Care is needed Monday-Friday from 8:45AM-5PM; beginning ASAP.
This family is a warm, loving family with two sweet girls—a 5-month-old baby and a wonderful 2½-year-old toddler—and they are looking for an exceptional nanny to join them for the long term. Their ideal nanny will become someone our daughters love to be with, someone who celebrates their milestones, encourages their curiosity, is comfortable being silly with them, and helps them grow into happy, confident little people. As their girls grow, your role will grow with them. They hope to find someone who enjoys being part of that journey.
This thoughtful family follows a child-led, montessori-inspired approach within a calm and positive home environment. Kindness, integrity, respect, empathy, and positivity are core family values. They view their nanny as a true extension of the family, prioritizing strong communication, consistency, reliability, and punctuality—especially for smooth morning transitions.
Their daughter has severe food allergies, making food preparation a key part of the role. All meals are prepared at home, and comfort with EpiPens and infant/toddler CPR is required.
The ideal nanny is kind, gentle, nurturing, and emotionally attuned, with proven experience caring for toddlers and infants at this developmental stage. Your days will center around caring for their girls and creating a warm, stimulating, and predictable environment where they can thrive. This individual is calm, reliable, professional, loving and silly.
They will enjoy creating engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, respect the family’s routines and boundaries, and approach the role with positivity, maturity, and empathy.
This is particularly important to them: they are looking for someone who wants to stay. Over the coming years, their girls will go from baby and toddler to preschoolers, school-age children, and beyond. We would love to have the same trusted person alongside them through those transitions. They believe the best nanny relationships are partnerships. They will encourage you to share your ideas, respect your experience, and work together to create the best possible environment for their daughters.
