Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa in Cedar Falls is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a 21-bed unit at Cedar Falls Medical Center. This role focuses on coordinating admission diagnoses such as chest pain, pneumonia, orthopedic and bariatric surgery patients, with full-time days or nights options available.

• Full Time Days, .9, 7 a - 7p, every 3rd weekend rotation
• Full Time Nights, .9, 7 p - 7 a, every 3rd weekend rotation
• Part Time Nights, .6, 7 p - 7 a, every 3rd weekend rotation

Position Purpose

Common admission diagnosis are chest pain, pneumonia, orthopedic surgery and bariatric surgery on this 21- bed unit at Cedar Falls Medical Center.

What You Will Do

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
