Role Overview

At Soho House, a Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for managing service quality, ensuring a consistent F&B experience under the direction of the General Manager. The manager oversees daily, weekly, and monthly operations, special projects, and ensures an optimal experience for members, guests, and staff. This role involves leadership development in hospitality through exceptional management, P&L review, forecasting, hiring, inventory management, vendor relations, and operational standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead operations proactively alongside the General Manager to ensure service excellence, proper staffing, and financial targets are met.
  • Maintain high guest service standards, effectively communicate with members, guests, and staff.
  • Collaborate in menu creation, procurement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify customer needs and develop responsive action plans.
  • Support HR practices, including recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Set targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote open communication, accountability, motivation, and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with allergy procedures, cleanliness, safety, and health regulations.
  • Prepare shift recaps covering service quality, staffing, sales, and risk mitigation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 5+ years of experience in upscale hospitality management.
  • Bar experience is highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with POS, OpenTable, Opera, or similar systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage trends and safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage personnel and financial targets effectively.
  • Guest-oriented, flexible, proactive, and service-minded.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle objects, perform fast-paced movements, lift at least 30 pounds, and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
Benefits & Compensation
