The Role:
The CE Sr. Technical Consultant plays a large role in supporting customers in designing and implementing the heart of their business. This role will be integral in improving processes, streamlining systems with respect to domain of focus, and can translate tech speak into human speak. This role will be working with our clients to optimize operations, configure systems, and keep things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Clients
- Work directly with our clients’ teams to understand their unique business needs and pain points.
- Gather detailed requirements and craft technical solutions that streamline their processes.
- Proactively ask questions that uncover pain points and demonstrate the value add of an integrated system.
System Configuration & Customization
- Configure systems with respect to focus area.
- Architect, design and develop customizations including Plugins, JavaScript, and integrations.
- Customize automation and integration to fit each client’s business model.
- Ensure best practices in security, performance and scalability.
End-to-End Implementation
- Lead the integration or migration from start to finish — this includes everything from initial scoping, system setup, testing, and go-live support
- Ensure the system is not just running, but exceeding expectations.
Process Optimization
- Analyze existing operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Propose solutions and an implementation plan that enhances efficiency and reduces cost.
Integration & Automation
- Collaborate with other teams to design and implement integrations with other systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation platforms).
- Leverage Power Automate and other automation tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Provide technical expertise in Power Platform including integrating with the API.
- Develop and optimize API integrations, data migrations and custom workflows.
Training & Support
- Provide training sessions for client teams to ensure they are comfortable and confident using their new systems.
- Offer ongoing support to troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and optimize system performance as the business grows.
- Mentor other consultants and provide knowledge and guidance on best practices.
Data Migration & Integrity
- Oversee the migration from legacy systems to new platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the process and beyond.
Project Management
- Work closely with the project manager to ensure deadlines are being met, hours allocation for tasks are within your abilities, and client satisfaction remains high.
Stay on the Cutting Edge
- Continuously monitor updates and new features in CE and Power Platform.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with other consultants and departments to ensure seamless integration across all business functions.
- Knowledge of BC Synch and FO Dual Write components
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE)/Power Platform development.
- Extensive experience in implementing Dynamics CE or Power Platform across multiple modules, including Sales, Service, Marketing, and Field Service.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, JavaScript, Power Platform, and Azure.
- Wide range of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps) and Azure services.
- Experience with enterprise-level implementations and complex integrations.
- Understanding how to work in the tools of the trade (KingswaySoft, Azure Data Factory, Celigo, Tybco, Azure DevOps).
- Strong ability to analyze business processes and translate them into system configurations.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
