Job summary

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC is hiring a USPS CDS Rural Mail Carrier in Silsbee, TX. You will deliver mail on a CDS route, sorting mail, loading parcels, and delivering along a 51-mile line of travel. Own vehicle required and you must pass USPS standards.

Position is part-time including Saturdays, with day shifts starting around 7:30am. Pay is $28.07 per hour plus vehicle reimbursement; benefits include cash-equivalent compensation for hours worked and compliance with DoL Wage Determination.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid Texas license.
• Able to lift 70 lbs.
• Must reside in the area and be able to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 564 active boxes.
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into the delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail along an assigned 51-mile line-of-travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels and Express mail.
• Performing other administrative duties as required.

Now Hiring - USPS CDS Rural Mail Carrier

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices in 20 states, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route solicited and posted by the USPS in the Silsbee, Texas area.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Texas' license; able to lift 70 lbs., able to work in all types of weather conditions and must reside in the area.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 564 active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail along an assigned 51-mile line-of-travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other administrative duties are required.

*MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN VEHICHLE*

Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements:

• Applicant must furnish vehicle, which meets postal regulations, and meet postal driving requirements.
• One Dependable vehicle that provides 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels. (Mini-Van, SUV, Truck with Camper Shell)
• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
• The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance cost.
• Vehicle Reimbursement paid on top of hourly pay.

Employment Begins: ASAP

• Hours: Day Shift - Work week is Monday - Saturday. Hiring for Part time including Saturdays.
  • 7:30am – 3:50pm* End time will vary based on completion of route and delivery of all mail and parcels.
• Pay: $28.07**/hour PLUS vehicle reimbursement
  • *Start and End time may vary.
  • **Straight time, Health & Welfare, Holiday and Vehicle Reimbursement paid out hourly. (Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act.) Rate of Pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.

Must be able to pass a drug test and have a criminal background history that meets the USPS standards.
