Job summary

TNStumpff Enterprises is seeking Rural Mail Carriers in Princeton, WV to deliver mail for the USPS. Applicants must have a valid West Virginia driver's license, be able to lift 70 lbs, and work in any weather.

Responsibilities include sorting mail, loading delivery vehicles, and delivering mail along assigned routes. Full-time and part-time positions are available with shifts varying based on volume.

Pay ranges from $26.97 to $27.97 per hour with added vehicle reimbursement and benefits.

Qualifications

• Reside in the Princeton/Athens area.
• Must furnish a vehicle meeting postal regulations.

• Sort mail in delivery sequence for active boxes.
• Load mail and parcels into the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver mail along an assigned line-of-travel.
• Dismount to deliver parcels and accountable mail items.
• Perform other administrative duties as required.

Job description

Now Hiring - USPS CDS Rural Mail Carrier

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices in 20 states, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route solicited and posted by the USPS in the Princeton/Athens, West Virginia area.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid West Virginia driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs.; able to work in all types of weather conditions and must reside in the area.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active boxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.
• Delivering mail along an assigned line-of-travel.
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Other administrative duties are required.

Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements:

• Applicant MUST furnish vehicle, which meets postal regulations, and meet postal driving requirements.
• One (1) Dependable (Mini-Van or Equivalent) vehicle or the equivalent that provides 150 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels.
• $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
• The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance cost.

Employment Begins: 7/25/2026, training may begin one week prior

• Hours: Day Shift
  • Hiring a full time person for each shift as well as part time.
  • Shift A - 5:45am– 11:35am*
  • Shift B - 12:00pm - 5:00pm*
  • End time will vary based on mail volume as we work until all mail and parcels have been delivered.
• Pay: $26.97- $27.97*/hour PLUS vehicle reimbursement
  • *Start and End time may vary.
  • **Straight time, Health & Welfare, Holiday and Vehicle Reimbursement paid out. Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act.
• **Rate of Pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.
