Job summary

At Home Care is seeking a CDS Attendant to help clients remain in their own homes by assisting with daily living activities and basic care tasks. You may be assigned to a specific client of your choice, supporting activities that enable independence and comfort.

The role requires 18+ years old with at least one year of direct patient care experience, typically in-home care or related settings. Join a team that values your contribution and provides flexible scheduling and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience (in-home care, skilled nursing facility, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparation, and clean‑up of meals
• Making beds and changing linens with the participant in or out of bed as required
• Brushing, combing, and shampooing hair
• Giving bed baths or assisting with shower or tub bath
• Assisting with oral care such as brushing teeth or denture care when participant is unable
• Giving assistance to and from the bed to a wheelchair, walker or chair when a participant is weight bearing
• Assisting the participant with ordinarily self‑administered medications (open bottles, get water)
• Tidying and dusting the home
• Cleaning kitchen counters, cupboards, and appliances, including oven, surface burners and fridge
• Laundering clothes and linens
• Making beds and changing sheets
• Sweeping and/or vacuuming and mopping floors
• Bagging trash inside the home and putting it out for pick‑up
• Shopping for essential items (e.g., groceries, cleaning supplies, etc.)
