Job summary

Advanced Technologies Home Care is seeking Consumer Directed Service Attendants in Missouri to support clients at home. Earn $15 per hour with flexible scheduling and weekly direct deposit, helping clients stay in their own homes and avoid long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities include meal planning and preparation, daily living assistance, mobility support, and basic household tasks. Applicants must be 18+ and able to work with individuals who have disabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparation, and clean–up of meals.
• Making beds and changing linens with participants.
• Brushing, combing, and shampooing hair.
• Giving bed baths or assisting with shower/bath.
• Assisting with oral care when needed.
• Assisting to and from bed to wheelchair, walker, or chair.
• Helping with self-administered medications (open bottles, water).
• Tidying and dusting the home;
• Cleaning kitchen counters, cupboards, and appliances.
• Laundering clothes and linens;
• Making beds and changing sheets;
• Sweeping and/or vacuuming and mopping floors;
• Bagging trash inside the home and put out for pickup;
• Shopping for essential items (groceries, supplies).

Job Purpose

The essential function of a Consumer Directed Service Attendant is to perform tasks that enable clients to remain in their own homes and out of long-term care facilities for as long as possible. Help patients complete daily activities that are difficult for them because of a physical or mental disability. Assist with intermittent household tasks necessary to maintain a safe and habitable home environment. The service is restricted to non-skilled tasks, and the need for services is determined in relationship to the client’s functioning capacity.

Job Responsibilities

• Planning, preparation, and clean–up of meals
• Making beds and changing linens with the participants in or out of bed as required
• Brushing, combing, and shampooing hair
• Giving bed baths or assisting with shower or tub bath
• Assist with oral care such as brushing teeth or denture care when the participant is unable.
• Assisting to and from the bed to a wheelchair, walker, or chair when a participant is weight-bearing.
• Helping the participants with ordinarily self-administered medications (open bottles, get water)
• Tidying and dusting the home;
• Cleaning kitchen counters, cupboards, and appliances, including oven, surface burners and fridge
• Laundering clothes and linens;
• Making beds and changing sheets;
• Sweeping and/or vacuuming and mopping floors;
• Bagging trash inside the home and putting it out for pick-up;
• Shopping for essential items (e.g., groceries, cleaning supplies, etc.);

Skills/Education

Home Care aide must be 18 years of age.
