Qualifications

• Must be able to safely strap and secure all loads.
• Must be willing to chain during snowy weather when required.
• Must meet all DOT, company, and account-specific requirements.
• Safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Haul dimensional pressure-treated lumber from the manufacturer to retail facilities, including Lowe's and various lumber yards.
• Operate tandem flatbed trailers and heavy haul equipment.
• Secure and strap loads; no tarping required.
• Manage loads up to 105,500 GVW.
• Overnight layovers with hotel accommodations.
• Drivers may support other DCS/JBI accounts an average of 3 days per week.

Join a semi-local CDL-A driving position hauling dimensional pressure-treated lumber throughout Washington and Oregon. This heavy haul lumber account offers consistent weekday scheduling, assigned day cab equipment, and hotel accommodations for overnight layovers.

Pay Details

$85,000.00 per year

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,635
• Receive $0.01 CPM increases annually until reaching the maximum pay rate of $0.49 CPM
• $75 layover pay for each overnight layover
• Hotel accommodations provided for overnight layovers
• Doubles endorsement costs reimbursed by the account

Job Details

• Semi-local position operating throughout Washington and Oregon
• Haul dimensional pressure-treated lumber from the manufacturer to retail facilities, including Lowe's and various lumber yards
• Operate tandem flatbed trailers
• Heavy haul freight with loads up to 105,500 GVW
• First load is typically preloaded the night before, with subsequent loads live loaded as scheduled
• Drivers are responsible for strapping and securing all loads
• No tarping required
• Operate brand-new 40'/24' trailer combination sets with a turntable
• Minimal trailer uncoupling required
• Assigned day cab trucks
• Trucks must remain at the account during time off
• Drivers may support other DCS/JBI accounts an average of 3 days per week

Shift Details

• Monday–Friday schedule
• Typically off Saturday and Sunday
• Opportunity to work a 6th day if desired
• Morning start times between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• Average 12-hour workdays
• Drivers are typically out 1–2 nights per week , depending on the delivery route
• Hotel accommodations provided for overnight layovers
• $75 paid per layover
