Job summary

WME Express seeks experienced Class A CDL drivers for a semi-local route out of Reno, NV, hauling pet supplies. Typical schedule is Sunday through Thursday with home time on a weekly basis and overnight stays 2–3 nights per week. The route covers CA/NV/UT/WY/MT/ID with pay based on CPM plus per-stop incentives.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Experience on semi-local routes preferred.
• Ability to operate an automatic sleeper truck.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pet supplies from Reno, NV to Petco stores across CA/NV/UT/WY/MT/ID.
• Drive routes with about 70% deliveries in California.
• Unload palletized freight with an electric pallet jack.
• Use lift gates where required.
• Backhaul freight back to Reno.
• Install tire chains when weather requires it.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Support other accounts weekly as needed.

Job Overview

We’re looking for experienced Class A CDL drivers for a semi-local route based out of Reno, NV. Drivers will haul pet supplies

Route & Schedule

• Operate in CA, NV, WY, UT, ID, and MT
• Start times: Between 10 PM and 2 PM
• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday
• Home Time: Home weekly; out overnight 2–3 nights per week
• Typical routes include North of Visalia California

Duties

• Deliver pet supplies from the Reno, NV distribution center to Petco stores.
• Drive routes throughout CA, NV, UT, WY, MT, and ID, with about 70% of deliveries in California.
• Regularly drive through Donner Pass and safely operate in winter conditions.
• Unload palletized freight using an electric pallet jack.
• Use lift gates at locations when required.
• Pick up backhaul freight and return it to Reno.
• Install tire chains when weather and road conditions require it.
• Operate an assigned automatic sleeper truck.
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and delivery schedules.
• Assist other dedicated accounts as needed on a weekly basis.
