Job summary

Blue Fox TR is seeking CDL A drivers for a dedicated semi-local account. The role offers a home-time during the week, a Tue–Sat schedule starting between 10:00 and 14:00, with routes from Reno to CA, NV, UT, WY, MT and ID. Seasonal winter routing via Donner Pass or alternatives may apply.

You will earn around $89,000 in the first year and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. You’ll unload at customer sites using an electric pallet jack; some deliveries require a lift gate.

Qualifications

• 3 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 6 months
• 6 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 12 months
• 12 months verifiable in the last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations or incidents in the last 3 years, PSP warnings count as violations
• No more than 3 minor incidents or accidents in the last 3 years, at fault
• No more than one highway accident in the last 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in the last 3 years costing more than $25,000
• Cannot have failed a DOT Drug test in the last 5 years and must have 1 year safe driving under SAP
• If terminated for accidents must have 12 months safe driving
• If terminated for safety (not an accident) must have 6 months safe driving
• All felonies and misdemeanors reviewed by safety, may not have felonious drug charges in last 7 years

Responsibilities

• Unload at each customer using an electric pallet jack and some deliveries require a lift gate
• Driver will pick up preloaded trailer in Reno and deliver to CA, NV, UT, WY, MT and ID
• Average about $1711+/week with mileage pay (.68 to .72) and stop pay of $38 (about 9 stops per week)
• Routes include Reno to CA/NV/UT/WY/MT/ID with possible winter routes over Donner Pass or alternate routes
• Start times 10:00–14:00 Tue-Sat; layovers roughly 3 times per week on average

Class A drivers run semi local position with average earnings of $89K/1 st Year with a $5000 sign on bonus. On this account driver will run Tue-Sat and start at 10.00 to 14.00. Drivers will run from Reno to CA, NV, UT, WY, MT and ID . During the winter drivers will be required to run Donner Pass or use alternate route around. Driver must be willing to chain when required. At each customer driver will unload using electric pallet jack and at a few deliveries use the lift gate.

Driver picks up preloaded trailer in Reno with deliveries to stores in CA, NV, UT, WY, MT and ID. Driver will use electric pallet jack and at times may need to use pallet jack

Drivers will average $1711+/WK with a mix of mileage pay (.68 to .72) and stop pay of $38 (average of 9 per week.)

Drivers must live within 80 miles of zip code 89508 and have reliable transportation to and from facility. Drivers may occasionally may be able to take truck home but must have a secure space and get permission ahead of time.

Start times will be 10AM to 2PM running Tues-Sat. Drivers will get layover on average 3 times per week but this is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• - Experience:
• - 3 months verifiable Class A Experience in the last 6 months
• - 6 months verifiable Class A Experience in the last 12 months
• - 12 months verifiable in the last 5 years
• - No more than 2 moving violations or incidents in the last three years and PSP warnings count towards a violation
• - No more than 3 minor incidents or accidents in the last three years at fault
• - No more than one highway accident in the last 12 months
• - No major preventable accidents in the last three years in which the total accident cost was greater than $25,000
• - Can not have failed a DOT Drug test in the last five years and must have one full year of safe driving under the SAP program
• - If terminated from job for accidents must have 12 months of safe driving experience
• - If terminated from job for safety that was not an accident must be 6 months of safe driving
• - All felonies and misdemeanors will be reviewed by safety but may not have any felonious drug charges in the last 7 years
