Job summary

TOMRA is seeking a CDL-A Route Driver in Bristol, CT to ensure timely delivery and maintain strong customer relations on a daily route. The role involves loading and unloading cargo, documenting shipments, and communicating with dispatch for schedule updates.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Handheld devices familiarity is required or learnable on the job.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CDLA driving experience.
• Must have a "satisfactory" driving record.
• Ability to lift 25-60 lbs.
• Familiarity with handheld devices or ability to learn (smartphones, etc.).
• Experience in client relations.

Responsibilities

PAY: $28.00/hr

Job Description

• Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service
• Loads, secures and unloads cargo
• Maintains contact with dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up
• Maintain customer relations while on route
• Lifting 25-50lbs at a time while loading and unloading trucks
• Use of handheld device to track inventory and client relations

• 1 year of CDLA Driving experience
• Must have a "satisfactory" driving record
• Ability lift 25-60lbs.
• Knowledgeable on how to use handheld devices like smart phones or other similar devices, or ability to learn these skills
• Experience in client relations
