Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver to haul frozen groceries on a dedicated route between Westfield, MA and relay yards in Milford or West Haven, CT. This position offers home daily time with no-touch, drop-and-hook freight and a $5,000 bonus.

Average annual gross pay is around $70,000, with weekly earnings of about $1,400. Expect 5–10 shuttles per day on a Sunday-Thursday schedule, starting around 3:00 PM–4:00 PM, with approximately 500 miles weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.

• Reliable personal transportation to and from work daily.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and inspect tractor/trailer tires.

Job Details

• No NYC deliveries
• Store deliveries may involve 2-3 stops and electric pallet jack unloading
• May assist other nearby accounts as needed

Shift Details

• Sunday-Thursday
• Start time: approximately 3:00 PM-4:00 PM
• Average 500 miles per week
• Home daily
• 6th days required around mandatory holiday periods, potentially 3 consecutive weeks
• Drivers work scheduled holidays unless the account is closed
• Thanksgiving and Christmas off; New Year's Day not guaranteed
