Job summary

Meijer is seeking a CDL-A local grocery driver to join a dedicated account with home daily and no-touch freight. You will work with newer Freightliner trucks, get 5 days on with 2 days off, and enjoy a 50-hour work week on average.

Shifts offer morning or night start times, with a weekend premium and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. A valid Class A CDL and 9 months of recent tractor-trailer experience are required, along with DOT compliance and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Must be at least 22 years old
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must create a profile with the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse before hire
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public, understand traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete required reports and records
• Must meet applicable DOT requirements
• Additional qualifications may apply

Join a dedicated local grocery account with average weekly earnings of $1,700 , home daily, no-touch freight, and 95% drop-and-hook. Choose from multiple morning and night schedules.

Pay Details

Average Weekly Pay: $1,75

• Average first-year earnings based on 50 hours per week
• Day Shift: $28/hour
• Night Shift: $30/hour
• Weekend premium: +$5/hour
• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus
