Job summary

Meijer Account is seeking a CDL-A Local Grocery Driver to service a dedicated local route. You will go home daily with no-touch freight and 95% drop-and-hook on a choice of morning or night schedules.

Typical weekly earnings run around $1,700, with Day shifts paying $28/hour and Night shifts $30/hour, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Trucks are newer Freightliners and dispatch support is available 24/7.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in past 3 years.
• Must create a profile with the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse before hire.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated grocery freight with no-touch handling.
• 95% drop-and-hook for efficient loading/unloading.
• Operate newer-model Freightliner trucks on local routes.
• Local 24/7 dispatch support for arrivals and issues.

Pay Details

Average Weekly Pay: $1,75

• Average first-year earnings based on 50 hours per week


• Day Shift: $28/hour


• Night Shift: $30/hour


• Weekend premium: +$5/hour


• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus

Job Requirements
