Job summary

Transporting Logistics is seeking professional CDL-A truck drivers for our Advance Auto Parts division. Drivers will operate dedicated routes across Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and beyond, averaging 1,500–2,000 miles weekly.

They report to Thomson, GA each Monday, staying in a sleeper cab for the week, and return home weekly. Night driving is standard; Hazmat endorsement is required, along with meeting DOT qualifications and passing a drug test.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license is required.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• Must be comfortable driving at night.
• Must meet DOT qualification requirements.
• Minimum 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Must pass a comprehensive drug test.
• Satisfactory safety and employment history.

Responsibilities

• Operate dedicated routes across Georgia, Alabama, Florida and beyond.
• Stay in a sleeper cab for the duration of the week and report to Thomson, GA location at the start of each workweek.
• Home weekly with scheduled home time.
• Deliver to Carquest and Advance Auto Parts stores; include inside deliveries with pallet jacks.
• Work primarily night shifts and back-to-back overnight driving.

Job description

Now hiring professional CDL-A truck drivers to join our dedicated Advance Auto Parts division. Drivers will operate dedicated routes throughout Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and other areas as needed, averaging approximately 1,500–2,000 miles per week. Drivers are responsible for commuting to the customer location in Thomson, GA, at the beginning of each workweek, where they will report for their assigned routes and stay in a sleeper cab for the duration of the week. Drivers return home each week for their scheduled home time. This account services Carquest and Advance Auto Parts stores and includes inside deliveries using electric pallet jacks, with manual pallet jacks available as a backup. This is primarily a night driving position, so drivers must be comfortable operating overnight.
