Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. seeks CDL A Shuttle Drivers out of the Benson, NC area for local, home daily routes. Hazmat is required for all positions. Trucks are automatic and day shifts run 7am–5:30pm or 6am–4:30pm, Monday–Thursday with Fridays possible.

Pay starts at $24.00 per hour. Benefits after 90 days include BCBS medical, dental and vision, 401K, paid holidays, vacation and personal time off. Requirements include CDL A, Hazmat, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Hazmat certification is required for all positions.
• CDL Class A license is mandatory.
• At least 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past year.
• A valid DOT medical card is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate local shuttle routes from Benson, NC area to client plants within NC.
• Maintain safe, on-time delivery and comply with DOT regulations.

Universal Logistics is seeking CDL A Shuttle Drivers out of the Benson, NC area. Now is the time to join a growing company with great benefits and local, home daily routes! Hazmat is required for all positions. All trucks are automatic.

Rate: $24.00 for Day Shift Shuttle

• Day Shift Shuttle Driver: 7am – 5:30pm or 6am – 4:30pm. Shift is Monday – Thursday with occasional Fridays
• Route: Shuttle drivers will deliver from our location in Benson, NC to the client plants in the areas of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Dunn, NC. All shuttle positions are local, home daily positions.

Requirements & Experience

• HAZMAT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL POSITIONS
• CDL Class A License

• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Current DOT Medical Card (minimum 1 year card)
