Job Opening: Local Trailer Truck Drivers

We are hiring trailer truck drivers for local routes! Candidates should have at least 3 months of experience with intermodal containers and HAZMAT handling.

Location Requirement: Candidates must reside in Salt Lake City, UT, or within 50 miles. Verify your residence with Hunter at [phone]. Candidates outside this area will not be considered.

Job Details

• Dedicated intermodal account
• HAZMAT certification is mandatory
• Experience with intermodal containers on bare chassis at the ramp required
• Home daily
• Shifts: Night/day, Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday; weekend and holiday work may be required
• Main routes include Grantsville, Oden, Bear River City
• Average workload: 4-8 loads/day, 60-70 hours/week
• Approximate weekly mileage: 1,000 miles
• Pay range: $1,320 to $1,680 per week, based on performance and experience
• Freight types: Live load/unload, drop'n'hook, no driver-assisted loads

Qualifications

• No more than 4 jobs in the past 3 years
• DOT Medical card
• Valid Class A driver’s license
• Minimum 3 months of experience
• Clean driving record with no recent accidents or tickets
• Age 21 or older
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Experience with intermodal containers on base chassis at the ramp
• Must have HAZMAT certification
• Residency within 50 miles of Salt Lake City, UT
