Must have CDL-A, a valid license, and DOT compliance; six months of relevant experience is preferred. This role requires teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with pay based on hourly

Competenze

• CDL Class A required to operate in interstate commerce.
• Valid driver’s license and a DOT file are required.
• Six months of experience as a package handler or switching/CDL operator preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate basic yard equipment and hand-held scanners.

Mansioni

• Perform trailer switches by hooking and moving trailers between yard and doors.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Adhere to yard safety processes and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
