Job summary

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required to operate in interstate commerce.

• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate basic yard equipment and hand-held scanners.

Responsibilities

• Perform trailer switches by hooking and moving trailers between yard and doors.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Adhere to yard safety processes and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
