Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience under FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• No more than 2 minor accidents in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Prior yard jockey experience.

Responsibilities

• Transports trailers within a distribution center.
• Performs equipment inspections per DOT regulations and internal procedures.
• Couples and uncouples tractor trailer units.
• Moves and organizes line haul trailers in the shipping yard.
• Ensures trailers are ready for loading, unloading, and transport.
• Documents all trailer moves within the shipping yard.
• Refuels switcher truck.
