Job summary

FedEx Group is looking for a dedicated individual in Belleville, MI to manage the movement of trailers in the yard and between unloading/loading doors. The ideal candidate will have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL – Class A) and be at least 21 years old, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

The position requires good communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, primarily during midnights and evenings. Pay ranges between $23.35 and $24.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) file.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL – Class A) to operate in interstate commerce is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the movement of trailers to and from unload/load doors.
• Performs trailer switches defined as hooking and moving a parked trailer.
• Documents trailer moves using the Yard Management System or switcher cards.
