Qualifications

Ability to understand and follow safety and work instructions.
Ability to discern numbers for accurate package sorting.
Ability to use basic yard equipment like rollers, carts and scanners.
Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced yard.

Responsibilities

Moves trailers between yard and doors as directed.
Coordinates trailer movements with management or control center.
Documents trailer moves using available Yard Management System or switcher cards.
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
Adheres to yard switching safety processes and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
