Job summary

US Foods is seeking a CDL Class A Yard Jockey in Norcross, GA to support daily trucking and trailer moves, staging, and backhaul preparation. You will communicate with dispatch, handle load transitions, and assist with equipment readiness for deliveries.

The role requires a valid CDL A, 21+ years old, and at least six months of commercial driving experience. English reading and communication are essential; overtime may apply and benefits begin day one.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Dispatcher/Router for truck/trailer and door assignments.
• Move trailers between buildings as directed by supervisor.
• Load, unload or merge loads between environments.
• Stage shuttle trailers for nightly operations.
• Ensure proper door placement for backhauls and unloads.
• Assist with equipment pairing and daily readiness for deliveries.
