Job summary

US Foods, Inc. in Oklahoma City is hiring a Yard Jockey CDL Driver to support safe, efficient distribution operations. You will position trailers and assist with equipment preparation to ensure daily deliveries run smoothly.

Starting pay is $24.75 per hour, with top earners up to $26.16 per hour. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM until work is completed, with overtime possible based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A with DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months of Class A driving experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English, including reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the Dispatcher/Router regarding truck, trailer, and dock door assignments.
• Keep assigned equipment properly coupled and ready for use.
• Move trailers between buildings as directed by the Router or Warehouse Supervisor.
• Load, unload, or consolidate loads between trailers and operating areas.
• Stage shuttle trailers nightly for Shuttle Drivers.
• Prepare trailers for backhaul operations, including positioning tractors and empty pallets.
• Position backhaul trailers at the appropriate dock doors for unloading.
• Ensure equipment is properly paired, positioned, and ready for the following days deliveries.
• Coordinate with mechanics regarding equipment maintenance and operational needs.
• Attend all required company meetings and training.
• Follow applicable DOT regulations and US Foods® safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
