Job summary

Domino's is hiring a Yard Driver in Hayward, CA, to reposition company tractors and trailers in the yard and at docks. You may shuttle equipment to logistics partners, back to docks, and assist with unloading when needed.

The role requires a Class A CDL with air brakes, DOT medical certification, and a valid driver with at least six months CMV experience. Expect 5am shifts, safety compliance, and a fast-paced environment in a pizza delivery operation.

Qualifications

• Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience, one year preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brakes.
• Must maintain a DOT Medical Certificate.
• Must meet MVR standards to drive company vehicles.
• Background check required every third year on anniversary date.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Move and operate tractor/trailer in yard and to docks.
• Document vehicle defects in DVIR booklet and report maintenance needs.
• Record odometer, hub readings, and engine hours; submit to lease company.
• Ensure refrigerated trailers are at proper temperature.
• Provide trailers to Warehouse Team for loading/unloading and assist as needed.
• Shuttle tractors/trailers to and from logistic suppliers and to wash/clean.
