Job summary

Domino's is hiring a yard driver in Hayward, CA to reposition company tractors and trailers in the yard and on designated non-highway areas. Shift begins at 5am, Monday to Friday, with a compensation of $30/hr.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, communicating maintenance needs, tracking vehicle data, and supporting loading/unloading activities as needed. The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Air Brakes, DOT medical certification, and the ability to work in refrigerated

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience, one year preferred.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL w Air Brakes and DOT Medical Certificate.
• Must meet DOT safety standards and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Move and operate tractor/trailer in yard and non-highway areas.
• Identify vehicle defects and document in the DVCR booklet.
• Communicate maintenance needs to Transportation Manager daily.
• Record odometer and engine hours; coordinate with lease company weekly.
• Ensure trailers with refrigerated products are at proper temperature.
• Assist with unloading/loading as needed and provide backhauls when assigned.
